Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the 2017 Maine Children’s Cancer Program WALK! This year's MCCP WALK will be on Saturday, September 16th in various locations across the state. Thousands of people will be joining to walk in solidarity to show support and raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer and blood disorders in the state of Maine. I am thrilled to be a part of such a worthy cause and am determined to support their efforts in making a difference in the lives of so many local children and their families.
Each dollar raised stays here in Maine and goes towards state-of-the-art equipment, psychosocial services for the patient and their family, and research to help find a cure for childhood cancer. With the support of people like you, we can make a huge difference in the lives of local children battling this horrible disease.
As you probably already know, I am a MCCP kid. At the age of 5, I was diagnosed with Leukemia and underwent 39 months of treatment at MCCP and Barbara Bush Children's Hospital. Please consider making a donation to support my participation and advance the Maine Children’s Cancer Program’s mission: to keep cancer from getting in the way of kids being kids!
