MCCP Walk 2017

South Portland Youth Cheering

SPYC Families,

Every year, we participate in the Maine Children's Cancer Program Walk in Scarborough. Thousands of people will be joining together in seven different locations across the state to walk in solidarity to show support and raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer and blood disorders in Maine.

SPYC believes in this cause and requests 100% involvement however fundraising to help us reach our $500 goal is entirely voluntary. IBeing able to support such a special program right here in our backyard that makes a difference in the lives of so many local children and their families is truly inspiring.

Each dollar raised stays here in Maine and goes towards state-of-the-art equipment, psychosocial services for the patient and their family, and research to help find a cure for childhood cancer. With the support of people like you, we can make a huge difference in the lives of local children battling this horrible disease.

I am confident that this is the year we all come together to raise valuable funds and advance  Maine Children’s Cancer Program’s mission: to keep cancer from getting in the way of kids being kids!

Let’s do this!
