Bowdoin Women's Tennis
At Bowdoin College, one of our core values is to promote the common good. To live out this value, the women's tennis team actively sought out to help out with this year's MCCP WALK! Many of us have been personally touched by cancer and to see this horrible disease affect the lives of so many children, this serves as one way that we can give back.
Thousands of people will be joining together in various locations across the state to walk in solidarity to show support and raise funds and awareness for kids battling cancer and blood disorders in Maine. Our team will be walking in the Brunswick branch of the walk.
As students at Bowdoin College, being able to support such a special program right here in our backyard that makes a difference in the lives of so many local children and their families is truly inspiring.
Each dollar raised stays here in Maine and goes towards state-of-the-art equipment, psychosocial services for the patient and their family, and research to help find a cure for childhood cancer. With the support of people like you, we can make a huge difference in the lives of local children battling this horrible disease.
We are confident that this is the year we all come together to raise valuable funds and advance Maine Children’s Cancer Program’s mission: to keep cancer from getting in the way of kids being kids!
We are so excited to participate and ask for your support!
