mccp walk child with thank you poster

The 2017 Maine Children's Cancer Program WALK will take place simultaneously in locations across Maine on Saturday, September 16, 2017. The purpose of the MCCP WALK is to raise both awareness and funds for the Maine Children's Cancer Program, Maine's comprehensive, world-class treatment center for children fighting cancer and blood disorders.

Individuals, teams and companies can participate in the MCCP WALK by registering online and collecting donations as a team. Money that is raised through the MCCP WALK helps to finance state-of-the-art equipment, psychosocial services and research to help find a cure for childhood cancer. All contributions stay in the state of Maine and help our local children and their families.

Each WALK will begin at 9am, with registration beginning at 8am. Please note, all WALK routes are roughly 3 miles long so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!

Please register today to participate in this year's MCCP WALK, and help support the Maine Children's Cancer Program in its effort to keep cancer from getting in the way of kids being kids! If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Tara Studley, Philanthropy Manager for the Maine Children's Cancer Program, at studlt@mmc.org or at (207) 662-6274.
